MaxBrax is a 600 mm × 600 mm galvanised steel bracket for formwork edgeboards. Forms edgeboards up to 600 mm high. Fitted with a custom high-strength M20 turnbuckle. Designed by formworkers for formworkers and concreters, it fixes down whichever way suits the job.

Specifications

One versatile bracket. Many fixing options.

1. Screw it (on timber or form ply): screw the base rail to timber or form ply through the holes in the rail.
2. Bolt it (on concrete): bolt the base rail to concrete through the holes in the rail using 8 × 75 mm concrete screw bolts.
3. Peg it (into the ground): drive 450 mm Formwork Pegs through the base rail holes into the ground, then insert a 75 mm (3") nail through the peg to hold MaxBrax down.
4. Star picket it (into the ground): hold MaxBrax down with four star pickets driven beside the base rail, with the star pickets screwed to the timber.
5. Wall fix it (on a column or wall): fix MaxBrax to a concrete column or wall with 8 × 75 mm concrete screw bolts. Ideal for cantilevered suspended slabs (propping may be required).
